The Dubai Crown Prince Camel Festival, one of the most anticipated events on the Emirati camel racing calendar, takes place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

Taking place from the 19th to the 29th of January, and spanning 10 days with an astonishing 310 rounds of racing and more than 10,000 camels participating, the festival is a grand showcase of the enduring bond between the UAE’s people and their cherished camels. Plan Your Visit

The Dubai Crown Prince Camel Festival typically takes place from 19th to 29th of January 2025. For the best experience, plan your visit during the morning from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM or in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, when the weather is most pleasant and the races are in full swing. The event is held at the Al Marmoom Camel Race Track, located on al Ain road, just a 30 minutes drive outside the city. With ample parking and easy access.

Admission is free, and visitors are kindly reminded to dress modestly when attending the camel races, respecting the cultural norms of the UAE. Even though it is free of charge, we recommend booking a guided tour.
