Bring people together through shared camel riding experiences in the desert, combining relaxed camel rides with time to gather, connect, and share a traditional meal. Designed for meaningful moments, social rides are ideal for small groups, families, visiting guests, and those looking to experience the desert at a slower pace. Rooted in culture, companionship, and slow travel, these experiences create space for conversation, connection, and memories that last well beyond the desert.
Our Desert Rides are designed for those who wish to experience the quiet beauty of the dunes, connect with nature, and share an unhurried moment with these remarkable animals. This is not about speed or performance—it is about presence, rhythm, and simplicity.
The pace is slow and grounding, allowing time to listen to the silence of the dunes and settle into the movement. A peaceful stop for water and tea offers a moment to pause, reflect, and simply be, before returning to the starting point.
More experienced riders may lead their camel independently, enjoying a deeper sense of trust, confidence, and connection as you move together through the desert landscape.
This experience is ideal for anyone seeking calm, clarity, and a genuine desert connection—whether it’s your first time with camels or a continuation of your riding journey.

During Ramadan, ADCRC invites you to slow down and reconnect. The holy month is experienced through community, tradition, and shared moments in the desert.
Set in Al Marmoom, our Ramadan experiences bring people together around camels, conversation, and shared meals. As a result, time feels calmer and more intentional, far from the pace of the city.
First, guests enjoy a peaceful sunset camel ride on the track. Then, the evening continues with an authentic Emirati iftar served in a relaxed setting. Afterwards, guests are invited to unwind with tea and conversation.
Not keen on riding? We have the perfect grounding workshop with camels set up for you.

What to expect:
Your first few lessons will be with your camel attached to the coach’s camel, and you will focus on balance in walk and trot.
By your 5th class, you’ll likely be riding independently—confidently walking, mastering the trot, and refining your directional communication.
From there, we’ll continue to challenge and support you with faster camels, new exercises, and skill-building drills that keep you progressing, engaged, and excited to ride. Whether you’re aiming for precision or speed, every session brings you closer to becoming a well-rounded camel rider.
