Camel Jockeys Wanted: Ride into History at Two Major International Events This Fall!
Are you ready to race camels on the world stage? For the first time ever, camel racing with human jockeys will feature in two prestigious international multi-sport events this fall: the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain and the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, KSA. This is more than a race — it’s a breakthrough moment for the sport, and you could be part of it.
The inclusion of camel racing marks a historic milestone in the journey to bring this unique and thrilling discipline into the global sporting spotlight. And the best part? It’s not too late to join.
- Asian Youth Games (Bahrain): Open to boys and girls born between 2007–2011, racing over 500 meters
- Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh): For men and women aged 18+, racing 1.5 kilometers and 8 kilometers
Whether you’re already riding or have a background in equestrian or endurance sports — now is the time get involved. Camel racing is slightly different to horses. So special training is required. You can train at the Arabian Desert Camel Riding Center (ADCRC) in Dubai, where top trainers and racing camels are ready to prepare you for competition.

- The Arab Cup in Jordan (September 2025) and Morocco (December 2025)
- Three major women’s races in the UAE
- Zayed Grand Prize Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi (November 2025)

- Season Final in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi (May 2026)
- Asian Championship Races in Abu Dhabi (November ’25 – May ‘26).

- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival (January 2026)
- The iconic C1 Championship – the world’s first and only all-female camel racing series in Dubai, (November 2025 – March 2026)
