Camel-Treks in the Middle East

Join us on camel-treks in the Middle East and beyond. Our treks are designed for experienced riders, where you are expected to ride your camel independently. We selected local partners carefully, to make sure the camels are well and capable and in good condition.

The level of difficulty varies based on distance, duration and terrain.

Despite the camel aspect, the trips also offer a unique cultural experience, where you meet and live with local communities.

Wahiba Sands - Bidiya and beyond, Oman

2.5 days of riding with incredibly strong Omani camels, accommodation in semi permanent tents in the Wahiba Desert, locally cooked authentic meals

This ride is perfect for anyone wanting to get immersed into the desert for the first time, and ride a comfortable 2 days out on the Northern tip of the Wahiba Sands.

Meet Abdulla, our guide on this trek, who is an absolute legend. He crossed the Empty Quarter on foot, following the route of Wilfred Thesiger.

The first departure is an advance rider trip where we expect you to be fit and confident to ride on your own.

The second departure is a newbie trip, where we can accommodate new riders with no experience.

From the Desert to the Sea, Oman

Cross the entire length of the Wahiba Sands Desert from North to South, until the Gulf of Oman. An adventure of a life time and a glimpse in slowly disappearing Omani Bedu culture.

Follow the trails of the Bedu, as they migrated from coastal areas in Winter to summer camps and houses towards the desert and Bidiya oasis.

We will be traveling from the Desert to the beach.

To partake in this itinerary, you have to be fit and possess camel riding skills.
