Give your nursery children a gentle first introduction to camels, animals and UAE heritage at the Arabian Desert Camel Riding Centre.
Designed especially for children aged 2+, our nursery programs combine storytelling, sensory play, creative activities and supervised interaction with real camels.
Rather than simply seeing a camel, children are encouraged to observe, touch, listen, explore and participate — creating a memorable learning experience in an outdoor environment.

Little Camel Explorers
Ages 2+
A gentle first camel experience created especially for toddlers and younger preschool children.
Through an interactive camel story, guided observation and desert-inspired sensory play, children discover what camels look like, what they eat and how they live.
The program includes:
- Interactive, age-appropriate camel storytelling
- Meeting and observing our camels
- Introduction to what camels eat
- Taste-safe camel and desert-themed sensory play
- Gentle hands-on discovery
- Plenty of opportunities to ask, touch and explore
The experience is deliberately paced around the shorter attention spans and developmental needs of younger children.
Become a Camel Caretaker
Ages 3+
What does it take to look after a camel?
Children step into the world of a camel caretaker and discover some of the everyday jobs involved in caring for these remarkable animals.
Following the story of a camel caretaker’s day, children meet the camels and take part in simple, supervised activities such as feeding and grooming.
The program includes:
- Interactive storytelling
- Meeting and observing the camels
- Camel feeding and grooming basics
- Simple lessons about animal care and responsibility
- Guided, age-appropriate camel-care activities
- Camel figurine painting to take home
It is a playful way to introduce children to animal welfare, responsibility and UAE culture through direct experience.

Bring the Desert to Your Nursery
You don’t have to travel to ADCRC to give children their first camel experience.
Our team can bring two camels to your nursery, accompanied by experienced handlers, so children can meet them safely in familiar surroundings. There is no riding. The focus is on gentle ground-level interaction, storytelling and hands-on learning.
Meet & Sensory Play (Ages 2+)
An interactive camel story followed by taste-safe, desert-themed sensory play and a gentle meet-and-greet with two real camels.
Meet & Paint a Camel (Ages 3+)
Children hear an interactive camel story, decorate their own plaster camel to take home and then meet two real camels at their nursery.
90 minutes – Minimum 50 children
